This item was damaged when I received it...as was it's replacement. I was very disappointed because the table is very nice. The appropriate packaging/shipper may make this table worth it. Otherwise, don't bother!

Worst table... ever October 24, 2009

I wouldn't wish this table on my worst enemy. Absolutely horrible. The top circular frame had 4 MAJOR cracks in it straight through the wood upon arrival, and the finish is so cheap it looks like this table should cost maybe $20. I returned it for a refund the same night I opened it. I love Amazon and returns are a cinch, but they should really stop letting this item be sold on their site, it's garbage.

I found this item in other stors for quite a bit more. Even with adding shipping. And really I have a small car so fitting the monster box in it would have been a chore. Delivery was a great way to go. Just as pictured. Once put together is a tad bit shakey. I have some heavy books on it to stabelize it. I'm sure some wood glue in the areas that are screwed in would help that though. Really is over all a lovely piece and the parts on their own are sturdy, just use that glue to keep it solid.

The table looked decent for the price when I got it... obviously not top quality though. I've only had it for 2 months now. I started noticing the finish cracking in some areas a few weeks ago. In the past week or so, I've noticed the joints in the top piece showing through & today one of those joints separated completely. The construction is horrible quality. I have not attempted to deal with the supplier for some resolution yet, so don't know how that will go. This was a complete waste of my money, for sure. I could have built something better myself.

Good table for the price February 28, 2009

This table was delivered very quickly and is a decent value for the price. I paid around $125.00 for the table from at home mart. The assembly was very simple and the directions were decent. The only complaint that I have is that the table does not appear to be constructed out of the most choice pieces of lumber and the glass center piece scratches pretty easily. The table appears to be made out of oak, but I see areas where it looks like some knots were filled in with putty to salvage a bad piece of lumber. Overall, I feel that this table was a decent purchase for the price.
