Decent table, but slightly overpriced August 22, 2008

I thought this table was a little overpriced. I would consider it to be more of a $50 table, not sub-$100 table. First, like the other reviewer said, this table has a wooden knob. It is easily replaceable, but the product photo should match the actual product and a table of this price should have already included an actual metal knob.

The drawer is small and the wooden guide rail that keeps the drawer in place was not long enough (or installed improperly from the factory). The drawer slips from its rail when pulled out too far. It's not difficult to get back on track, but again, this table is approaching the $100 mark and this shouldn't be happening.

The top of the table I received has some small marks/imperfections on it, which could be a reason I return the item. The table is made from mostly wood composite, but that was expected at this price range. Overall, it's fairly sturdy, but not rock solid. Installation was very simple and all tools were provided.

I had considered rating this item four stars, but the imperfections are what really pushed it down to a three star rating. I will recommend this table, but keep in mind the issues I have listed above and the price point when purchasing this product.

Nice table - well made for the price. Not too difficult to assemble. Picture shows metal drawer pull but ours came with a wooden one which looks cheap. Bought a nice, antiqued brass metal pull and it looks much better.
