The chair is very dark brown almost black. It is a medium size chair so it goes well in tight areas. It is comfortable and it is a really good deal considering the free shipping.

I have never ordered furniture on line so I was unsure, but this chair arrived quickly, was extremely easy to put together - 5 minutes or less. It is a little difficult to move around because of the bars under it, but not bad. The seat is not sink in soft but not hard either. The sides of the arms on the chair are soft and comfortable. It reclines full length and quite comfortable. I got free shipping and for the price I don't think you can find anything else with this quality at this price.
