The Case of the Shrinking Sheets November 7, 2009

The sheets are very smooth and have a great feel to them but every time I wash them they shrink a little more. It's getting almost impossible to get the fitted sheet on and the top sheet hangs down less than 6 inches on each side. They are also so wrinkled coming out of the dryer that they need to be ironed. I'll stick with something other than 100% cotton when I buy again.

These are durable sheets. They are as soft as I care for sheets to be but I can see why people have complained that they feel like paper. Imagine sleeping in a bed at the Courtyard Marriot, or perhaps a Holiday Inn Express... that's what it feels like to me. I like it though. It's not like it scratches my skin or anything, they just aren't silky smooth and aren't as soft as a cotton t-shirt; and why would they be? Good sheets for the money.

My wife ordered these sheets so I'm asking her to review:

I really like the weight and feel of the sheets, especially this time of year when the nights are cold. However, I do not care for the pillow cases. They do not iron well and wrinkle easily.

Expected to get a coffee colored or latte colored sheet from the description and they are ugly gold. Feel good but color is completely misrepresented.
