I have a daughter who has recently given up nighttime diapers. She goes a month or so without wetting but when she does have an accident this has been awesome. It washes and dries easily. It has kept the mattress bone-dry. I love it.

Great for your kids first big bed November 14, 2009

We were finally ready to move our son to his own room complete with daybed. Our son was still being potty trained so we looked for a way to protect the bed for the inevitable night time accidents from a leaky diaper.

This cover is the perfect solution, waterproof but very comfortable to lay on - you don't hear the plastic at all.

One recommendation, make sure you let it hang for a day or two to let it air out (leftover factory smell) before using.

One last kudo on this is that it's made by Beautyrest so you can buy with confidence. A+++++++++

This pad is a great value. I had no problems fitting it on my mattress and and it feels like its of great quality. This is definitely great to keep your mattress under warranty and i feel safe with it if something spills on it, nothing will happen to the mattress. For the money, safe yourself the headache of research and just buy this product. Sleepy's and other store company's definitely charge more money and the quality will be the same.

Be careful how you wash this. I have washed it 4 times. The first 3 I aired dried it. Last time I put it in the dryer and it has melted together. I set it to delicate, low heat and only had it in 15 minutes before I checked it. I would not buy it again.

With two dogs, a baby and a toddler in the house, it's kind of obvious why we needed a waterproof mattress protector...
We chose this one based on price and reviews, and we're very happy with it. It gets the job done, absorbs whatever liquids are around (in the meantime only spilled water, thanks be to the lord), and keeps the mattress nice and dry. It's also soft and plush, adds some more comfort to our sleep-deprived nights.
