Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Representing the next generation in mattress toppers, Sleep Better visco-elastic memory foam reduces nighttime tossing and turning to provide a better night sleep. The innovative, hypo-allergenic material takes its cues from the bodys shape--adjusting and contouring to any form. The resulting customized fit distributes weight more evenly and relieves pressure points. It allows for better blood flow so the body makes fewer adjustments in search of a more comfortable position. And to top it off, the temperature-smart, open-cell foam breathes freely to facilitate air circulation and keep things cool.

The pad measures 58 by 77 by 2 inches and covers the entire surface of a queen mattress. It carries a density of 2-1/2 pounds per cubic foot. Thanks to its therapeutic features, it benefits the bed-confined and is frequently used in hospitals. It is also great for pregnant women, the elderly, and anyone who needs a good night rest. Spot cleaning with warm water and a little soap removes most stains. This product is made in the USA and comes backed by a 5-year warranty.

5 out of 5 stars Good Sleep   November 11, 2009

Have had it for several months now and memory still works like new. My wife and I both get a better nights sleep now.
I was a bit leery about only 2" vs. 3" or 4" but 2" is plenty.

Bought this for my younger son who said his bed was unconfortable. I even tried it one night-I have to say, it is quite comfortable!

4 out of 5 stars Very Comfortable   November 10, 2009

We bought this product to on top of our 15 year old mattress in our travel trailer. First we were glad that we had open it up and let it air our for a couple days before we needed to be in the trailer as it did have a odor, especially in a small space. The lenght was a little short but that wasn't a problem, it was not 70"L.
We were very happy with the result of this 2" mattress. We will try putting non slip rubber mat in between as someone else suggested because it slips but other than that we are getting another one for other bed now.

4 out of 5 stars Extends the life of a concave mattress!   November 3, 2009

I've had my current mattress for around 10 years, and recently I had been experiencing some recurring back pain in the mornings. The mattress developed a soft area/dip in the middle where my body usually lies, and I could feel the springs underneath my ribs (I'm a side sleeper most of the time). I figured I'd try the "memory foam topper" option rather than buy a whole new bed.
At first, it was strange sleeping on something that my body "sank" into, but after a few days it's really made a difference. I toss and turn less when I'm trying to fall asleep, and the back pain in the mornings has disappeared! Better still, I don't feel the mattress springs anymore, and the topper somehow makes the bed feel more uniform (don't feel the dip anymore). Yes, the foam has a slight odor (almost like rubbing alcohol or something) but it's not overwhelming and is much more faint once you cover the pad with your elastic sheet.
One thing to note is that the foam is pretty dense and requires a good amount of pressure to "squish." I'm 180lbs and it conforms to my weight, but I have a feeling lighter people would get less of a "sinking" feeling and would think the foam is less giving as a result.

4 out of 5 stars much better sleep   October 24, 2009

My son could not sleep on the rickety mattress in his new dorm room, but once he put this on his bed he had great sleep with no tossing and turning!
