I was very excited about my purchase since this was my first buy for high thread count sheets. The price was right and the sateen striping looked attractive.
However, majorily dissapointed. The sheets are heavy and warm, but very rough to the skin and not luxurious at all. My boyfriend who only sleeps in 600 or higher counts said I should return the product. I figured washing the sheets would "soften" them up, but unfortunately this actually made them worse.

These sheets were a bit wrinkled from the vacuum packing, but a quick tumble in the dryer was all that was needed. They smoothed out on the bed very nicely. As others have already said so eloquently, these are beautiful sheets. A little stiffer in feel at first, but great to climb between those sheets! Lovely looking also, I've ordered a complete bedding set now to match the delicate ivory of the sheets. Great bargain!

These sheets are good quality and deep, as advertised. The reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that they specify cold-water washing. For the 39.99 price they are a fantastic value.
