Pike Street Towels a disappointment November 5, 2009

I purchased the Pike Street towels expecting a very high quality towel. When I received them in the mail, one towel was very poor quality. The edge which is a hemmed style edge was frayed and not sewn in several places. The hand towels several areas that were frayed and in poor condition. I was very disappointed.

Don't buy these towels November 1, 2009

I wish I had read the other reviews before I bought these. These are the least absorbent towels I have ever used. I hope that I'm not going to have to fight Amazon when I call now to ask that they pay for the full amount of the shipping costs to send them back.

Received these towels (which were excellently packaged) and made use of them right away. Lush and super-absorbent best describe all three variants (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth). Followed the care instructions that were provided within the packaging and the expert laundry tips provided within these reviews - Continued to be very pleased with the product & purchase.

Bottom line: This was a solid towel set, nonetheless. Value pricing makes it a great towel set for the budget-minded. Very happy and recommend them earnestly.

We are disappointed with the quality and the feeling of touching the towels. The quality is similar to the cheap towels purchased from Wal-Mart.

However, thanks to Amazon, it allows us to return them with no cost.
