Many of the shower rods we really liked were over $200. This one isn't as classy but is more cost effective and certainly does the trick. It's a good substitute for the fancy ones without paying the insane price. I have 3 82" extra thick curtains on it and it doesn't sag. I wouldn't pull too hard on them tho. Easy to install. The finish is the only element of it that I'm not crazy about. I would've preferred a matte nickel finish but that wasn't available. The rod is a bit too shiny and harsh looking. But it's fine. It's only a shower rod after all!
