It eliminates the mess and the rust that can form on the bottom of bottles sitting in your bath or shower. It saves money by buying in bulk (1 gallon soap and 1 liter bottles of shampoo and condtioner) not to mention the hassle of trying to get the last bit out of the small bottles while you are showering. The only complaint is that you should be prepared to order additional units so that you have access to more of the bottles as the dispenser tends to leak or quit working over time. Also be very careful when opening the main unit holding the bottles as the plastic lock tends to break. Love it! Works perfectly! October 15, 2009 Rick (Pacific NW) I got this from Amazon and installed it the day it arrived. Installation on our ceramic tiled shower was simple, no problems. I have been using it for over a month and love it. I was hoping it could totally replace our hanging chrome shower caddy but not quite, as there is no way to hang a razor from it as you can on the shower caddy. Also my wife wants to keep using bar soap rather than liquid body soap so we need something to hold the soap. But it does look nice and sleek and has worked without problems. It keep my tub free of the mess that causes bar soaps. It is perfect to keep my shampoo & hair conditioner handy without having too many bottles inside my tub or shower. Once I had to buy a soap dispenser from another brand because my local store didn't have The Dispenser and I needed immediately, so I took the risk with another brand and didn't like it at all and after three months it was broken. Best for thicker shampoo (like Neutrogena) October 5, 2009 Santa Claus (Hunterdon, NJ USA) Someone noted that the lock is prone to breakage. That's what broke on my last one. However, this seems to be the only dispenser working with Neutrogena Shampoo. I went to buy a different (not by choice, it was all the store had). My shampoo did not move. Pumping and pumping and no shampoo. Now, I am going to use the replacement one with the "good" pump, as soon as it arrives. Aviva is perhaps prettier, but its pumping action seems to work only on thin fluids.
