I got the red towel and I was really surprised how bad it was. Even after putting it in the washer/dryer 5 times, it was still shedding tons of red lint with no end in sight (and the red dye bleeds and stains other clothing). Red dust balls constantly cropped up on my bathroom's floor, counter, and shower. I'm glad my pipes didn't clog.

I'd recommend that you look at another product because this one creates too much of a mess to be usable.

We've had these towels for almost a year now. I was hoping for a towel that retained its softness. At first I was thrilled with how soft and fluffy the towels were, but after a year of using and washing them, they are not only less soft and fluffy, but the hems have shrunk and they are mishapen. I wouldn't recommend them.

I like the towels. Unlike the Pike Street towels I bought at the same time, they pull the water off you and feel good to dry with - they don't feel cold and wet as soon as you start drying off.

"Verdant" = MOSS GREEN November 29, 2009

I like several shades of green, including sage, but I couldn't really tell what actual shades of green that these towels come in. The description says "Verdant" and "Cypress", and there is a stack of towels pictured, but there is no clue, really, as to which color is intended to be "verdant" or which is "Cypress". I could have ordered either one. It was a Friday special and I needed towels, so I just took a chance and clicked "verdant". Well, it turns out to be very much a moss green, which I do like, but it would be helpful to know that in advance, don't you think? The towel itself is pretty good, if basic. I already pulled a thread on it whilst pulling off the label, so you might want to be more careful than I was and cut the label off. I've washed it, dried it and used it, and it's good for the price. This color would look great with a dark brown. I'll probably get some more.
