Aside from the separate counterweight that is likely lost by now, I regard the scale as a good purchase. The counterweight isn't required in most cases anyway, frankly, I have forgotten what it was for. The scale is accurate, relatively easy to set up and requires little to no maintenance. I am pleased with the purchase.

Well, it's just a scale but it weighs things (like myself) perfectly!! My only gripe was that the "instructions" that came with it were completely useless. I had better luck just figuring out how to put it together by close examination. I can't think of a better scale for the money, and I can't imagine this thing not outliving me.
