If you are looking for exact precision or more accurate and consistently reliable measurements--- then you are obviously either 1. in need of a digital scale or 2. not looking to weigh human bodies, but small objects where precision is needed. otherwise, it measures your weight reliably well, and tells me every morning when i put on a pound or more. it is small and light enough to fit in my personal dorm bathroom, and monitors my weight so as a student i can keep myself in track and prevent weight changes at the end of the semester. if you are a college student like me and looking for a budget weighing scale that does its job, then this is it. decently priced, too. otherwise if you want more, expect to be slightly disappointed. or get a digital one. Ok for the price November 12, 2009 Dave Nguyen (Columbia, SC USA) For the price this product is just ok. I believe the accuracy is around +/- 1.5 pounds. Before using it, you will have to set it back to the zero position using the dial. It can take you a little effort tuning back and forth till the hand is right there. The scale is kind of cheaply made. If you are serious about your weight gain/weight loss progress then maybe you may want to have a better one. After 1 months use as a bathroom scale I ended up buying the Health o Meter Digital Scale with a nice LED display at Walmart which costs around 8 bucks more. I am much more satisfied with the latter and would recommend it over this one. Doesn't work!!! October 20, 2009 Monica Undouptly a waste of money. The numbers in the dial are nice and visibly big. The only annoyance is that it just needs to be readjusted often, but if you don't mind spending a few seconds readjusting it, then this ain't bad.
