5 out of 5 stars GREAT DEAL   October 16, 2009
J. Brooks (Indianapolis, IN USA)
Like this clock very much. With a quick glance not, only can you see the time, but if the alarm is set. Now, just waiting for a power outage, as this was the main reason for the purchase.

2 out of 5 stars defective out of box   October 13, 2009

Bought three units. Two for the house and one for the motorhome. The two for home were defective out of the box and were replaced with units that now work.
Tested the one for the motorhome and it seemed ok but on our first trip it did not work the third night we plugged it in.
Not a very good quality product. would make sure of the return policy before ordering.

I really liked the large display and the automatic time set function. However, the on-off button on the alarm was broken. Item was returned but shipping was not refunded.

5 out of 5 stars Great for Seasoned Citizens   September 30, 2009

I bought this for my parents (88 and 95) so they can see the time easily when they wake up at night. It has many other features but they just like the very large numbers and the strong elimination.

5 out of 5 stars Great .... But....   September 12, 2009
Bill McConnell (Arlington, Texas)
Just as another reviewer had stated - it runs three minutes fast, and resetting does nothing to correct that problem. We, just like they, mentally subtract the three minutes from the display.

Since getting the clock, w've had our household power go out several times during storms, and when the power returned - WOW it kept its own time during the outage - Really Great!

What's more - it can be seen easily from anywhere in the darkened bedroom - AND even more - the display is not too bright in the dead of the night.

Another annoyance, though, is the flashing colon between the hours and minutes display. We've put black masking tape over them, which does a good job of hiding them when looking straight onto the display - however they're still visible from an angle. Wish we could turn it off.
