I purchased this heater a week ago - it is very attractive and the flames are very realistic looking. The fan is extremely quiet. The remote is only on and off but this is enough for me. I chose this heater because it clearly stated the BTUs - almost all of the rest only state the watts. I am about to order 2 more.

This is a nice looking heater. Even the flame is somewhat realistic. However, the blower only has 1 speed. The blower is quiet so that is a plus. The remote only turns the unit on & off, it does not adjust the thermostat. This would be a better heater if the blower speed could be adjusted higher.
