This item is a piece of junk. My nephews could have made a more impressive insulator. I would venture to say there is about 50 cents worth of material all together. The styrofoam is too small to fill the case; also it bends away from the door due to the odd folding and shipping it undergoes. Unless your door is flush with the floor it will not stay put. Don't waste your money. Shove a towel under your door- it will be cheaper, work better, and be more aesthetically pleasing.

I wanted to use this for one of my outside doors (obviously--where else would one be interested in a draft blocker?) but it fell right off. Perhaps it works for inside doors, but that is not where one has drafts. This is a terrible product.

The door guard was not thick enough to close the gap on an interior door (which is hung higher off the floor with no threshhold) so I wrapped each styrofoam tube with small cell bubble wrap to make it larger. Worked well.

The box the draft guard came in had a picture of a brown draft guard and some instructions for fitting the pieces together. From the box it seemed there should have been 4 pieces of foam that could be connected to form two longer straight pieces. But what was in the box were two full length foam tubes that had been bent in half. Also, the color of the fabric part was wrong, black, not brown. The tubes that had been bent in half couldn't be straightened out completely. The fabric was very cheap and non-sturdy seeming and was the wrong color. Not sure whether the company full filling this order had been duped or if they were trying to dupe me.

The good news is I returned this without much trouble, except for the hassle of having to take the box to the UPS store.

I wouldn't buy this product, no matter how cheap. You're better off using rolled up old towels and taping them to your door or something.

Although I was so excited to get this product, it doesn't fit and/or stay under my door. From the start, I knew I was in trouble when the material wouldn't fold and take the correct shape to hug my door......downhill from there.

I'll stick to the snake-shaped, sand or cloth filled draft dodgers that you just place at the base of the door(s).
