4 out of 5 stars World's Toughest Computer   November 13, 2009
Brienna F. (Massachusetts, USA)
I've been saying for a month that I should write a review for this baby laptop. I have a wild 9 month old who likes to push the buttons sometimes but has more fun beating it up, standing on it, walking on it, sitting on it, carries it by the handle, turns it into a see-saw and finds more uses for it every day! We've had it for 3 months and it's still in perfect working condition, even after all the abuse! It's one of his favorite toys. The music never seems to get old to him. The one negative though is that one time, on closing, the lid did pinch his fingers. Didn't stop him from loving his laptop though.. he's even playing with it right now!

5 out of 5 stars Durable, cute, 2 volume levels, off button, great!! Screen does NOT crush baby's fingers, don't worry.   November 11, 2009
Mom of 2: Wyatt , my son in Heaven & Danika, my daughter on earth. (St. Louis, MO)

My daughter received this as a gift when she was about 6 months old. She has loved it ever since and she's 2 years old now.

She loves the lights, sounds, and music. It's not overly annoying. She's now old enough to recognize the shapes on the keyboard which is really cute.

She loves carrying it around by the handle and playing on it next to Daddy while he is on his laptop.

It's been a must for traveling!

It's thicker than I like, wish the design were a little slimmer, but other than that, we all just love it.

The laptop screen is harder to open than you would think for an infant/toddler - we've usually had to help her until recently. The laptop screen does snap closed when you get to a certain point in closing it, but it's never been a problem with my daughter. I don't even like to use the word "snap" as I wouldn't call it that. NEVER pinched her and she has NEVER cried when she has closed the screen on her fingers, even as a 6 month old. She does it on purpose now a lot of the time, so please don't listen to the other reviewers - this toy is safe. It will not crush your child's fingers.

We love it, highly recommend it!

4 out of 5 stars Overall pleased   October 30, 2009

We bought this for my son when he was about 7 months old, to try to keep him away from our laptops. Well, that failed, but he does enjoy this toy, and it can entertain him for a pretty decent amount of time. The flashing lights on the screen attract him, but they don't strike me as very educational. I don't mind, though. One thing I would change is that my son loves to open and shut the computer. He can shut it easily (and has never hurt his little fingers, as another reviewer said), but he cannot get it open easily. It would be nice if it had some kind of handle or something for the younger babies. But still, overall, my son loves this toy, and I would buy it again!

5 out of 5 stars Sound isn't annoying!   September 7, 2009

i bought this in pink for my 9 month old daughter. i was hoping for a laptop that looked more like a real laptop, that it just doesn't exist for this age group. in any case, she likes this toy well enough. lot of buttons and lights. the sounds aren't annoying to me, and i generally have a very low threshold for noisy kids toys.
