2 out of 5 stars Conceived in brilliance; executed in disgrace!   November 16, 2009
D. Hopkins (Stuart, FL)
The mirror's concept is fantastic, in fact, I wish I'd thought of it myself. The idea is simple enough, fill a reservoir behind the mirror with hot water, and like magic, it prevents the mirror from fogging. It actually works! There is even a clever drip hole on the bottom of the reservoir which allows it to empty over time.

There are are two main problems with the design:

First, it WILL NOT stay on the wall. The suction cups simply are not robust enough to hold this thing on my shower wall. It barely stays up when empty, and its holding power is pushed to the limit when full. I can't count the number of times the mirror has fallen off the wall in the middle of the night and come crashing to the floor! I finally started detaching the mirror from its cradle after each use. Perhaps I'll try siliconing it to the wall.

Second, the razor holder will not fit any standard size razor. I've tried 'em all, and none fit. It's completely useless!

Great idea guys, but back to the drawing board.

5 out of 5 stars Best Fogless Shower Mirror I have Used   November 3, 2009
Hal
Over the years I have tried several mirrors that I can use in the shower. This is by far the best. You fill it up with hot water and the heat of the water keeps the mirror warm and the mirror stays clear. I really don't like shaving and have sensitive skin. I recently shaved off my beard and am shaving more often and this mirror has served me well so far. It impressed me so much that I reviewed it on my own site. [...]

Be well!

Hal

It works like a charm! I was shocked how effective this concept was, and it works much better than the standard fogless mirrors I have used in the past.

5 out of 5 stars The best shower mirror i have used   August 26, 2009

This product is the best shower mirror I have ever used. IT DOES NOT FOG UP!!! and that is its main purpose. While the mirrors that hook directly into the shower head work as well, they are too high for up for me (im 5'8''). The suction cups are the same as every suction up in the world, meaning they stick to the wall pretty well as long as the wall is clean when you put it on. More likely then not it will fall off eventually but the mirror is well made so i doubt it will break. Also, while it appears that the razor holder doesnt hold Mach brand razors, just peel the prong back a little and it will fit.

5 out of 5 stars Great product!   August 24, 2009

Just used this for the first time and it definitely works as advertised! For the price, it can't be beaten. The suction cups are plenty strong enough for holding the light-weight mirror and the water reservoir was a GREAT idea for keeping the mirror fog free. The small hole in the bottom of the mirror allows the hot water to heat the mirror and then drain slowly so you don't have to do it manually. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a way to shave in the shower. The only down side is that it doesn't have a light on it so make sure you have decent lighting in your shower area. Other than that, it's a great product as advertised.
