2 out of 5 stars Strange 'buzzing' noise - dubious electrics   November 20, 2009
M. Damm (NY, NY)
I liked this clock a lot when we first got it, but then realized there was an issue. When plugged in, it makes a 'buzzing' noise like there is resistance or something in the plug/wire. I tried different sockets and same thing - so I know it's the clock. Now I'm worried it's going to start a fire so right now I'm using the battery-run option, but this means I can't use the night light (and is more expensive) so I'm annoyed. Trying to get the manufacturer to accept it for repair.

5 out of 5 stars My 4 year old loves it!   November 17, 2009
S. Bryan (Missouri)
He loves the alarm feature the best (funny huh?) and how is glows green! He enjoys being able to turn off the alarm then he tells his younger brother who shares his room that it is time to get up. He hasn't gotten too into the teaching feature of the clock, but on occasion when he asks me what time it is, I tell him to find out, and he does and will come back to tell me the time. I think eventually the teaching part of it will interest him more, but he's got plenty of time to learn, he's only 4.

1 out of 5 stars Too difficult to program   November 14, 2009

This product seemed like a wonderful concept. However, it was impossible to program. I returned it.

1 out of 5 stars Stay away, my Tot Clock is much better   November 10, 2009

I bought this clock before knowing about My Tot Clock and I hate it.
The voice that teaches time is raspy and robotic. The night light is very bright, but it doesn't help to show the time. The numbers are super small and I had put it out of reach at first, but I can't read it, since the screen is slanted up. The worst is the alarm, it sounds like a fire alarm and I left it on by accident, after trying it and not liking it, and it woke my son up alright, the poor kid was so startled by it that he cried!
My Tot clock is superior in all the aspects and it even tells stories!!!

5 out of 5 stars Keeps my kid in bed longer!   November 8, 2009

My son loves this clock and so do we. It is helping to teach him to read a digital clock (when it reads it aloud upon depressing the foot button). The green light is a great incentive to keep him in bed longer in the mornings too. He is so proud when he stays till the light turns green, and we enjoy a few extra minutes of sleep. Highly reccomend this product, well worth the fairly high price! I was reluctant to spend the money for it, but would do it again in an instant.
