Disappointment June 14, 2008

I am sorry to say that I was disappointed with these lamps. It may be just me, but I felt they were badly out of poportion in their design. The glass torchiere shade is too large for the base. And the overall effect was to leave me wanting something 'more'. In another setting they might be okay, I don't know, but they do not work well in my room. On the otherhand, the quality of the materials and workmanship on them are good and solid.
