I really like this booklight. It is so convenient because it has an adapter that plugs in or runs off batteries. The light is very bright. It has a flexible arm that is long enought to adjust however you want it and fits nicely into the carrying case, handy. I have been using it for a while and it has not dimmed yet like most others.
The only down side is the weight of it. But the clip on seems to stabilize it okay.

I purchased this based on the reviews but was very disappointed. After the first week, it wouldn't hold a charge and the lamp would only light up about a quarter of the way. I don't know if mine was just uniquely defective, but it will only work while plugged in (and the lamp won't light all the way across.)

My husband gave me the Brookstone rechargeable LED book light when this one stopped working and its been wonderful. It lasts over 10 hours on one charge (several nights of reading) and it has worked perfectly for almost a year, so i would recommend that one over this (even though the price may be lower, this light isn't a bargain if it doesn't last more than a week.)

Over the past 15 years I have been through about 5 book lights (I camp frequently and can not go to sleep without reading, thus I always carry a book light). This is, hands down, he best light for reading from any book light. And, it is sturdy and folds down to a realatively small package.

It's only minor drawback is that there is some tork on the long light that requires a little fiddling to get adjusted if you clip it on to a book. The little fiddling is well worth the bright, clear, reading light.

I was a little hesitant to order this since I have never heard of the brand and the item does not seem to be widely available. Well, the Daylight24 booklight is *exactly* what I hoped it would be. I am using it to light a music stand in addition to the usual use as a booklight. It clips sturdily to the music stand. The gooseneck is flexible in many directions so I can position the bulb directly above the top of the music stand. The light is not super bright but it is more than sufficient. I love that it can be plugged in or run via battery. Overall this has a quality feel to it and would make a nice gift. Batteries, an adapter, and a nice carrying case are all included = fantastic deal. Highly recommend!!!

PS - I see on the package that it is also made in blue, pink, and red in addition to black. I have no idea where you could purchase the other colors but it would be cool to see those available as well.

This light, I find to be much better than other reading lights that I've had. The light is bright yet it is not hard on my eyes.The light shines evenly on the pages.I purchased this light because, it is supposed to create a natural light and it does fit the description to a tee!
