You don't need to break the bank on your electrical bill each month in order to enjoy soft bright lights. The CFL bulbs included in this 2-pack will fit in any standard indoor or outdoor candelabra or chandelier style base; two adapters are also included to use the bulbs in standard medium-size bases. Each bulb emits 450 Lumens, which is higher than the 370 Lumens emitted by a common 40 Watt incandescent bulb, while using only about 25% of the power. Additionally, these long-life bulbs will last up to 8000 hours, more than five times that of standard, 1500-hour incandescent bulbs. Bulbs are what we thought we wanted to save some energy using our dining room light. The bulb itself makes the light look weird. The bulbs are about five times size of other regular bulbs for the chandiler type light.

This is my second set of lights. The first one lasted 6-7 monthes. Then they started to dim and keep flashing a little. I bought another set and it's been like 5 monthes now. I have a two light fixture mounted on a wall above the main door that gets you in the house. Well these lights work everyday from sunset until the morning. I keep them on so the house looks occupied at all times except mornings.
9-watts i believe are like 40W in Incandescent.
