absolutely overjoyed with this beautiful book!....applied suggested crystal tree for our vow renewal..everyone was in awe of its beauty...we believe mr. preston would have been proud!....and would also buy from sellers again..quick shipment.great condition!.wow again!

This book has phenomenal images of floral arrangements and venue decorations. Preston Bailey's work is definitely over the top. Your bride or wedding planner will love to add this to their collection.

This book is awesome,however, I am not able to do this caliber of work with florals or fabric. I saw this florist/event planner on Oprah show and signed on to Amazon to see if he had any books. I have been flower arranging for friends, family, work events and gifts. I have taken about four 8 week courses and two 2 day courses at a adult school and a extension course with a junior college. I believe these events are put on by people who are very wealthy and money is no object. I found these arrangements to be very insipirational and they help you to stretch your creative mind to think outside of the box. This man is the creme of the crop in the florist business.

This book is delightful.The talents of Bailey and his staff are vast. I recommend Fantasy Weddings to get your own creative juices flowing-very inspiring for professionals- or simply to enjoy as an escape to Fairyland.

The High-Fashion Show of Events... October 5, 2007

Many people say Preston Bailey is over the top- and he is! Duh... I have an event production firm here in LA and we make reference to the authors ideas, then we tone it down a bit, add our own flavor and touch, and there you have it. The point of a book like this that everyone else here seems to miss is that you should NEVER recreate anything in a book- but rather be inspired by it.
The point of my title is to draw a parallel between the ideas in this book, and the point of the high-fashion industry. When Dolce & Gabbana release a silver pleather jumpsuit in a runway show, they don't want you to actually wear that on the street; but rather, they want you to move in a more conservative version of that design that is usually toned down and sold in the store. It's like asking for a raise: ask for $2.00 if you really want $1.00...
