This is your standard unfinished pine and white, plastic dowel rod drying rack. The sketch is a total misrepresentation that looks as if the rack is a dark color. It, in fact, is the same one you can purchase at any Walmart or Menards for half the price. The seller will not stand behind his product and refuses to send a return postage label so that I can return it. This is the only bad experience I have ever had with an online purchase. Horrible!

at last a perfect clothes dryer October 31, 2008

With the cost of house utilities going up, I really hoped to use my electric dryer minimally this winter so looked for a large, heavy duty clothes rack dryer. This is certainly it...the rails aren't wooden so the wet clothes spread out nicely on them and it can be put in 2 positions (depending on what you're drying). It also folds up easily and, when not being used, tucks into the corner of the room. It's worth the price - don't bother with the cheap wooden ones!

This clothes dryer is sturdy and holds a lot of laundry. I have three active people and they need to wash a lot of clothes. The dryer holds a full, large load of shorts, shirts, pants, boxers, pajamas, etc. It is also sturdy enough to handle this load. The rungs which hold the clothes are either covered with some type of plastic or are plastic and so do not stain the clothes in any way. I really like this dryer.

The clothes rack I ordered came today~ broken. When I contacted Polsteins Home & Beyond I was told that they could not send me a paid return label because they sell wholesale, and it would cut into their margin! From where I sit, this is a most unsatisfactory reponse to a problem. The rack looks like it would be great, but if you want one, buy it from someone other than Polsteins Home & Beyond! There was no packing material in the box, and the box is mangled. And the shipping fee was nearly as much as the item. Perhaps Amazon should drop them as a supplier!
